Czech and Slovak national operas interchange chief conductors

The internationally distinguished Slovak conductor Oliver Dohnanyi will become the new chief conductor of the Opera of the Czech National Theatre in Prague. Dohnanyi already conducted the Prague Opera between 1993 and 1996, and he was also the chief conductor of the Slovak National Theatre's Opera in Bratislava between 1986-1991. A month ago Czech Jaroslav Kyzlink was appointed the chief conductor of the Slovak National Theatre's Opera in Bratislava.
