Mon 19 Jul 04, 23:04    RSI

Slovakia's largest open air music festival Bazant Pohoda 2004 closed its stages on Sunday. It hosted 137 bands and DJs from 22 countries in Trencin since Friday. Among the biggest international stars of the 8th Bazant Pohoda 2004 festival were Jamaican reggae legends The Wailers, Finnish bands Varttina and The Leningrad Cowboys and the British performers Moloko, Chumbawamba and Asian Dub Foundation. Festival visitors numbered over 20,000 both Friday and Saturday. Organisers say the total number of visitors represents a new record.
