Slovakia Junior Ice-Hockey Team Finished in Fifth Spot

After having beaten Switzerland (3-0) and Belarus (11-1) and lost to Russia (0-4) and USA (1-3), Slovakia's juniors have won their place in the quarter-finals of the U20 Junior World Championship that has been held in the Canadian cities of Sydney and Halifax in the past two weeks.
The unfortunate loss 0-6 in the quarter-finals against Finland has sent the young Slovaks to the match with the Czech Republic, which they have easily won 2-0 and finished in the fifth spot.
This is, after the third place four years ago, the best historical placement of the Slovakia's junior team.
