Kukan awards model Sklenarikova

Slovakia's world-known model Adriana Sklenarikova-Karembeu received a diploma for promoting Slovakia abroad from the hands of Foreign Minister Eduard Kukan on Saturday. "I never stopped being a Slovak," Sklenarikova said. The model came to Slovakia to receive the first diploma of this kind for her active involvement in charity work with the Red Cross. She is living in France with her husband and famous soccer player Christian Karembeu. "Mrs Adriana is promoting Slovakia abroad in the most beautiful manner. Therefore she will be the first to be awarded with the honorary title 'Slovak Messenger'," Kukan said.
