Fri 01 Apr 05, 23:40    RSI

Slovakia fully supports Ukraine's integration ambitions. Foreign Minister Eduard Kukan informed his partners in Kiev of this stance at the beginning of his two-day official visit to Ukraine. He also emphasized that Slovakia will be glad to help its eastern neighbor in its EU integration efforts and share the experience from its own integration. During his official meetings the Slovak minister first spoke with the Unkrainian Deputy Prime Minister also about mutual economic cooperation. These talks largely concentrated on the energy sector. They also evaluated the possibilities of electricity supplies to Slovakia.
