Women tennis team defeated

Slovakia's women tennis players lost 3:2 in the first round of the World Group II tie in the Confederation Cup on Sunday in Switzerland. Both teams were playing without their number one players -- Daniela Hantuchova (Slovakia)-Patty Schnyder (Switzerland). The tie went to a fifth set doubles to decide it, with the Swiss coming back from 2-1 down after three matches.
