National Football Champ winning first international battle

On Wednesday in the Champions League Round I qualifier the reigning champions of the Slovak premier league Artmedia Bratislava won 4:1 in the return match played against the Kazakhstan team Kairat Alma-Ata. The qualifying rounds for the Champions League, Europe's most prestigious football tournament, are held in July with the final to be played in late May 2006.
