Apollo bridge opened in Bratislava

The new Apollo bridge was officially opened in Bratislava on Sunday. The Apollo bridge is the fifth bridge over the Danube river in the Slovak capital. The overall cost of building the bridge came to almost EUR 103 million. This was mainly provided by the state budget, Bratislava city council and the European Investment Bank. In all, 25,000 people attended the opening ceremony.
