Volume of foreign direct investment in Slovakia grows

The volume of foreign direct investment in Slovakia grew by 167 million euro over the first half of this year. The aggregate volume of foreign direct investment in Slovakia thus reached 11,6 billion euro. The biggest investors in Slovakia in the first half of this year were from the Czech Republic, Korea, Austria and Germany. The Netherlands with 22.3 percent had the biggest share in the aggregate volume of foreign direct investment influx in Slovakia, followed by Germany and Austria. The largest portion of the investment came to the Bratislava district.
