Slovakia advances to Davis Cup Final

In a shock upset, Slovakia beat Argentina in the Davis Cup semi-final 4 – 1. On Sunday Dominik Hrbaty defeated Guillermo Coria 7-5, 6-2 6-3 in just over two hours. The victory takes Slovakia to its first Davis Cup final where they will play Croatia. Slovakia has the right to home-court advantage in the December final. Hrbaty, who is ranked 19, 11 places below Coria on the ATP ranking, had the clay court specialist scrambling behind the baseline for much of the match with punishing, corner-to-corner ground strokes.
