Defense Ministers to discuss fighting terrorism

Tue 04 Oct 05, 17:22    RSI

The position of Slovakia and Russia towards international terrorism is expected to dominate talks between defense ministers of both countries, Juraj Liska and Sergej Ivanov, in Moscow later this week. Liska left for a three-day official visit to Russia on Tuesday. Slovakia is actively involved in the fight against terrorism, chiefly through deployment of its soldiers in international operations in Afghanistan and Iraq. Liska plans to talk during his visit also about possibilities for cooperation in development of new technologies for liquidation of unexploded ammunition.
