The future of the Western Balkans and the further unifying of Europe was the closing theme of the two day summit of heads of states from central and southeast Europe, which was held in Zagreb on October 14-15. Slovak President Ivan Gasparovic in his address to the meeting pointed out that the future form and statute of Kosovo should be in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council and its definition must stem from the direct dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina.
