Hungary still negotiating Hankook investment

Thu 20 Oct 05, 07:51    RSI

Hungary is continuing negotiations with Korean tyre-maker Hankook on possible investment, Hungary's Economy and Transport Ministry spokesperson Judit Toth said following reports that Slovakia is unlikely to play any further role in the battle for investment by Hankook. "I can confirm that we are negotiating with Hankook, but, of course, we don't yet know which location the company will choose for the investment," said Toth. She refused to specify which investment stimuli Hungary would be willing to provide for the investor. She added that the details of such agreements are often not made public.
