Hankook reacts positively to new Slovak bid

The Economy Ministry on Monday received a letter from Hankook (South Korea) in which it reacts positively to the new bid to bring the Sk500-million investment to Slovakia and welcomed further negotiations. According to a ministry spokesperson, a date for the negotiations will be set this week. The Slovak Embassy in South Korea also confirmed that Hankook hasn't approved its final decision on where to locate its new plant in Europe yet. Earlier Monday it was reported that the biggest South Korean tyre producer Hankook Tire chose Hungary for its new plant.
