In Berlin he will meet with the German Chancellor-Designate Angela Merkel and the outgoing Chancellor Gerhard Schroeder. High on the agenda of the Berlin talks should be bilateral relations and issues related to the EU membership of both countries. As of May 23 of this year the volume of German investments exceeded 2 billion euro. Currently over 400 German companies operate in Slovakia, with the highest concentration in the Bratislava region.
