Police Swoop of Bratislava clubs and pubs following murder

Tue 08 Nov 05, 08:40    RSI

Police have made several raids in Bratislava in the wake of Friday’s murder of 20-year-old student Daniel Tupy from Zilina, north Slovakia. The student was killed by seven stab wounds. An organised group of neo-Nazis attacked him and his six friends in a car park on the banks of the Danube River. Over the weekend, the police made several related swoops in the capital city. The police confirmed these actions to be strictly a security measure, however, they refuse to comment further on the raids.
