Wages rise for three quarters

Slovak average nominal wages increased year-on-year for all sectors in the January-September period while real wages rose in most sectors, according to the Statistical Office. Over the three quarters of 2005, real estate, rentals, commerce and other services posted the highest annual increase in nominal wages of 12.7 percent. The wages in wholesale rose 11.7 percent.
