Thu 10 Nov 05, 08:41    RSI

Parliamentary Chairman Pavol Hrusovsky assured the Romanian President on Tuesday in Bratislava about Slovakia's support for Romania's full membership in the EU. That support includes looking for the resources to resolve issues which Romania can expect during the integration process. The Romanian President, who was on a one-day official visit, expressed his thanks to the Slovak Parliament for the ratification of an agreement about the starting of pre-accession talks with Romania. Romania, along with Bulgaria, are scheduled to become EU members on January 1, 2007.
