Miklosko in favour of keeping parliamentary immunity

According to governing-coalition Christian Democrat (KDH) MP Frantisek Miklosko, speaking on STV's politics show 5 Minutes to 12 on Sunday, our democracy is still immature. Therefore, he is for keeping the system of parliamentary immunity that protects MPs from prosecution. In addition, Miklosko thinks that the limiting of parliamentary immunity needs to be dealt with systematically. „Parliament can vote for depriving an MP of their immunity, for example, if the MP is driving under the influence of alcohol (as was the cases last week with HZDS MP Jan Cuper)," added Miklosko. However, he thinks that the Constitutional Court should take a stand on this issue as well
