Conference of regional partnership in Bratislava

A Conference of Regional Partnership is being held in Bratislava today. Speakers of the parliaments of 6 countries cooperating in the Regional Partnership with another 2 candidate countries for the EU – Bulgaria and Romania, are going to meet. In the case of Poland, it is their first official visit of the representatives of the parliament to Slovakia. Preceding this conference was a meeting of the Slovak speaker of the parliament Pavol Hrusovsky and the marshal of the Sejm of the Polish Republic Marek Jurek. Together they agreed on a great need of solidarity in the EU, which requires the cooperation of all the states of the Central Europe.
