Slovak offices unharmed by fire at Danish diplomatic building

The fire in the building belonging to the Danish diplomatic mission in Beirut did not cause any harm to Slovaks working in the Slovak honorary consulate located in this institution. “The Slovak consul is of Lebanese origin, he is well and keeps in contact with us,” said the Foreign Ministry spokesperson. The Ministry has recommended Slovak citizens not to travel to Syria due to protests against caricatures of the prophet Mohammed published in European press.
