Tue 14 Feb 06, 08:15    RSI

Slovaks still don't eat enough healthy food, they drink more and more alcohol and the number of, especially young, smokers rises. The result is that more than three quarters of people die of cardio-vascular diseases and cancer, Pravda daily reads. "Within Central Europe, Slovakia reached the first position in the death rate due to these diseases. Only Romanians and Bulgarians are ahead of Slovakia if the whole of Europe is taken in account.
