Thu 02 Mar 06, 08:06 • RSIThe Slovak Supreme Court on Wednesday outlawed the ultra-nationalist Slovenska Pospolitost - Slovak Togetherness - party due to its political activities. The Court decided these are not in line with the Slovak Constitution. This is the very first time that the Supreme Court has outlawed any political party in independent Slovakia. Party leader Marian Kotleba said that party members would still take part in the early general election on June 17. However, he didn't say whether the party members are going to register a new political party, or if they will appear on the candidate lists of other parties. Many party members are currently facing accusations of supporting and promoting movements that aim to suppress human rights.
