Euro 2004 Without Slovakia

Slovakia drew their Euro 2004 qualifier match against Macedonia in Zilina on Wednesday. Szilard Nemeth of English Premier league side Middlesborough scored the one and only goal for the Slovak team in the 25th minute. Dimitrovski earned a deserved share of the points with the first-ever goal for Macedonia against Slovakia, when he hit the net from close range after Sakiri's nice pass. Slovakia, who lost the chance to qualify for the European Championships long ago will finish third in the group behind favourites England and Turkey and ahead of Macedonia. The team will play the final game of the qualification on October 11 in Vaduz against the homeside Liechtenstein.
