Slovaks in Davis Cup World Group Play-Offs

Michal Martinak won against Mardy Fish in the last singles match of the World Group play-offs tie between the Slovak and the American Davis Cup teams. Team USA beat Slovakia 3:2. On Friday, Dominik Hrbaty won against Andy Roddick 3:6, 6:3, 6:4, 6:4 and Karol Kucera lost against Mardy Fish in the second match. In the doubles match, Dominik Hrbaty and Karol Beck lost against Mike Bryan and Bob Bryan. In the first singles match, Karol Beck lost against US number one Andy Roddick.
