Maybe you were also a bit disappointed by the results of the Slovak olympic team. Other countries won much more medals than Slovakia. But it is really not that sad. Look at the table below showing also the number of medals per million inhabitants of population. Especially Australia and Hungary achieved excellent results. China and Japan, on the other hand, did relatively poor. Slovakia belongs to the best according to this (of course not perfect, but definitely more precise) classification.
